EFIG cooperates with the ministry of social solidarity and “Sonaa el Kheir” in the Egyptian Outskirts Development Initiative

The initiative is aiming to improve the quality of life of Egyptian citizens and provide a decent life, leveraging on our CSR plan to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's Vision 2030.

 The initiative goals are developing and rehabilitating the village of Al-Farisiyah in Luxor Governorate, through:

  1. Upgrading 30 houses structures as a first stage.
  2. In support of small projects, such as supplying the residents with 30 fishing boats equipped with engines and various fishing supplies.
  3. Equipping and launching several medical convoys to examine the residents’ eyesight status and provide the right medical solution for each case.

This project is one of the main projects that contribute to the United Nations sustainable development goals strategy, it targets Goal 1: No poverty, Goal 3: Good health and well-being, and Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth respectively.

As we continue our CSR journey, we focus on women empowerment by giving rural women access to opportunities and resources that enable them to have power and control over their own lives.&nbsp;Sustainability centers are an exemplary model for women empowerment, offering training on handicrafts, providing the tools to create and promote and ensure a sustainable income to those who wish to upgrade their living and become financially independent.&nbsp;The center's inauguration fits into the group's direct social investment goals as well as the revival of traditional, heritage crafts.

EFIG, in collaboration with Sonaa El Kheir, celebrate the re-opening of Ezbet Al-Safih, in Fayoum after reconstruction

Ezbet Al-Safih, Al-Shimi Village, in Al-Fayoum was officially inaugurated as part of the eFinance Investment Group's direct social investment strategy in cooperation with “Sonaa el Kheir”, a member of the National Alliance, and in the presence of the Governor of Fayoum Dr.Ahmed El-Ansari and a representative of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Education, and within the framework of the presidential initiative "Hayah Karima (Decent Life)" &nbsp;1.&nbsp;48 houses were reconstructed in two phases, with concrete, flooring, plumbing, paint, doors, and windows completed before the houses were fully furnished with electrical appliances, two bedrooms, a reception area, and a kitchen. 2. Enhancing El-Shimi School's computer lab's efficiency by repainting it and providing ten computers as well as a printer and a projector. 3. A medical convoy to check schoolchildren and identify diseases including anemia, diabetes, and vision impairment early on and provide the necessary treatment&nbsp;as well as&nbsp;eyeglasses. In the second stage, a sustainability center will be established with the goal of empowering women in the Fayoum Governorate and promoting financial independence as a part of a heritage and handicrafts revival initiative.

EFIG celebrates the first phase completion of Alfarisiyah renovations in Luxor as a part of its ongoing CSR plan

EFIG carries on with the CSR plan by finalizing phase 1 of developing and renovating the village houses of Al-Farisiyah in Luxor Governorate, With the reconstruction, development and furnishing of 30 houses and the delivery of 30 fully equipped fishing boats to the village’s selected eligible families of “Esna”town. In a celebration within the village, the keys to the new homes and the boats were given out to the families by Dr. Nevin el Kabbaj, the minister of Social Solidarity, Mostafa Zamzam, the Chairman of Sonaa el Kheir, Ahmed Ismail, the Chief e-Payments Consultant &amp; Yasmine Rashed, Marketing &amp; Communication &amp; CSR Director of EFIG after touring the village and checking the new, renovated houses alongside Mostafa Elham, the Governor of Luxor. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
