EFIG partners with Baheya Foundation to support 13 breast cancer fighters in honor of International Women’s Day

eFinance Investment Group has signed a cooperation protocol with the Baheya Foundation for Early Detection and Treatment of Breast Cancer. Through this initiative, the Group will support the treatment of 13 Egyptian women, underscoring its commitment to social development as it marks International Women’s Day. 

This partnership reflects EFIG’s CSR strategy, which places women’s empowerment and access to healthcare at the center of its priorities. The Group believes that investing in women’s health is essential for sustainable development, as it enables women to regain their well being, resume their roles in society and contribute to economic and community progress.

The cooperation also extends beyond medical treatment. EFIG announced that the beneficiaries will receive post recovery support through training programs delivered at the Group’s Sustainability Centers. These programs, implemented in collaboration with Sonaa El Kheir Foundation, equip women with craftsmanship and heritage based skills that help them build sustainable sources of income and strengthen their financial independence.

Yasmine Rashed, Group Marketing, Strategic Communications and CSR Director at EFIG, expressed pride in the partnership. She stated, “We believe that supporting women begins with guaranteeing their right to accessible, high quality healthcare. Our collaboration with Baheya reinforces our commitment to standing beside Egyptian women throughout their journey, not only through treatment but also by helping them rebuild their lives with confidence and stability.” 

From Baheya’s side, Eng. Tamer Shawky, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, expressed his appreciation for the support provided by EFIG. He emphasized the significance of such collaborations in enhancing the Foundation’s role in offering essential healthcare services to women across Egypt. 

Laila Salem, Member of the Board of Trustees and granddaughter of Baheya Wahby, affirmed that the protocol strengthens Baheya’s mission to provide reassurance, awareness and comprehensive care to women in need. She expressed her gratitude for partnerships that directly impact the lives of Egyptian women. 

This cooperation reflects EFIG’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s Vision 2030, which prioritizes human development and expanded access to healthcare as key drivers of national progress.

EFIG Expands Its Development Impact in Aswan with Renovated “Al Amal Villages” Homes and a New Sustainability Center

In alignment with its commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development, EFIG strengthened its impact in Aswan through a community level handover ceremony celebrating the completion of 15 fully renovated homes in El Shorouk Village, Kom Ombo. The initiative comes under the “Al Amal Villages” program implemented by Sonaa El Kheir Foundation, part of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, which works to provide vulnerable families with safe and healthy housing while protecting them from risks posed by floods and severe weather.The ceremony was attended by Major General Dr. Ismail Mohamed Kamal, Governor of Aswan; Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance; Dr. Mostafa Zemzem, Chairman of Sonaa El Kheir Foundation; Hany Abdel Fattah, CEO of the Foundation; and Yasmine Rashed, Head of Marketing, Strategic Communications, and CSR at EFIG.

EFIG Participates in Al-Manfaz initiative “Every Day a Story – Ramadan 2025” Under the Patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity

eFinance Investment Group participated in the third edition of the “Every Day a Story—Ramadan 2025” initiative, which is launched under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity. This participation reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and supporting the underprivileged. The initiative aims to provide food support to deserving families during Ramadan. This year, EFIG contributes to the initiative by packing 2,000 boxes.Yasmine Rashed, Marketing, Communications &amp; CSR Director at EFIG, stated that the collaboration between companies, organizations, and government entities under the umbrella of “Al-Manfaz” Initiative creates a wide-ranging positive impact and helps deliver support to a larger number of families across the country. She added that the presence of EFIG’s team at Al-Manfaz headquarters packing the boxes aims to promote a culture of volunteering and strengthen the sense of belonging among employees. She also highlighted that EFIG is keen to participate in several corporate social responsibility initiatives throughout the year, improving citizens’ quality of life, promoting sustainable development, and bringing joy to the families.On his part, Karim Mekky, founder of “Al-Manfaz” initiative and CEO of Fox Group, emphasized that this year’s initiative aims to distribute 100,000 food boxes and renovate around 100 kitchens for the most deserving families as part of efforts to enhance social solidarity and support underprivileged groups. Mekky explained that the collective efforts of private sector companies and institutions under “Al-Manfaz” umbrella yield more effective results. He also mentioned that the distribution of food boxes to deserving families is done with great care to ensure the support reaches those in need across different governorates, under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity. He thanked the EFIG team for being present at the initiative's headquarters and for their voluntary participation in packing food boxes, believing in the importance of this noble role that reflects the spirit of solidarity.
